The last two days were amazing as my dad and I fulfilled a lifelong dream of attending the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club. I can't tell you the first Masters I actually saw on TV because I don't remember NOT watching it. It became a family tradition - watching the greatest golf tournament in the world with family.
Even when I moved to Los Angeles, I always came home for Masters weekend. So to see the course in person was extremely surreal. And it was surprising to discover that television doesn't even come close to capturing the place. The grass feels like fine carpet. The greens are more undulated than you think. And as my burning calf muscles are screaming at me, it's very hilly. As we were told, walking from the tee at #10 to the green at #12 is the equivalent of walking up a 15-story building.
On Tuesday, we saw two of the all-time greats in person which was incredible. Check the end of the post for that.
Anyway, the experience is hard to put into words so I won't try. Here are a bunch of photos from our two days. For photos of some of the players we saw, check the post below.

As we were leaving for the day, we ran into someone. Arnold Palmer.
What an amazing experience for you both. Great pictures!
